Hi all.. Checking in to say Hi :)

Hi my people that probably think I no longer exist lol..

Just checking in to let ya know how I'm doing.. I'm OK.. Just a slight issue.. lol

I wanted to take Tuesday off so I could go to Caylee Anthony's memorial service in Orlando, and my boss at work decided not to let me take the day off.. :cry:. Caylee's case really hit me like it hit a lot of people here and I think it might help me if I go.

But I really want to go to the service.. Maybe I should just drop it and go to work.. or maybe I should just take the day off and go.. and deal with any potential consequences. {for the record, I've only missed 1 day in about the past 9-10 months or so..}

anyway.. If ya feel like chiming in with an opinion, please do so..

Hi there John. Welcome back!

Caylee's murder is a very sad case. We had a similar case with a foster child over 2 years ago. It just breaks your heart. So many people turned out for the foster child's memorial too. You somehow want to make up for what this child was missing in life - loving parents but you can't. But in the end, on some level, it does help to come together, in support of what is right and decent in this life - children. And raising them well. When that fails, you still feel at such a loss. I understand why you feel compelled to attend it.

I understand that you want to pay your respects to Caylee, but I think that your boss would know the reason why you called out if you decided to go in that direction. It may end up making your boss mad by doing so.
