Winds at 70 MPH, pressure up to 994 MB are the main highlights.

I had really thought it would have been a hurricane by this advisory, I guess this might have been it's last shot since it will be making landfall shortly.

Latest vortex message just came in saying it had a extrap pressure of 987 MB.

That could be debated. But I don't think the NHC will upgrade this to hurricane now. The storm center looks like it making landfall now.

No data has yet suggested that this reached hurricane intensity. Even wiht the pressure drop, FL winds have remained virtually unchanged and surface dropsonde readings are atrocious, indicating that the winds may be closer to 50-55KT instead of the 60
