There are rare blue colors(COOLER WATERS) now in the tropical atlantic because in past months and weeks plenty of blue had dominated the atlantic but that has changed as the anomalys are warming nicely. So in terms of the sst's in the atlantic this factor is favorable for those CV systems but as we know apart from this factor there are others that will guide what will happen as the CV season rolls ahead. The SAL,shear, how the ridges are in terms of position and strengh are some of the other factors that will be important apart from the warm atlantic.

GFS is certainly picking up on it. 12z run holds the ridge at 60W by day 7, compared to the 6z run has the ridge further east. This keeps this potential storm on a west/WNW track for a longer period of time.
