Trough of Low Pressure East of the Bahamas

Interesting feature here on the SAT image. This was supposed to move through South Florida as a tropical wave but GFS wants to move it NNE and out to sea:

All I can say is we're getting hammered with rain here in St. Thomas...we need it, but this is a bit much all at once.....I can't even leave work to go home because it's a total white-out with the clouds being so low....just seems to be "training" from south to north and it's been like that all day.....

Indeed you are getting drenched there as the tail of trough is stationary.WE expect plenty of rain this week here as the upper trough and low level trough combine.

Wouldn't be so bad, except for the "white-out" situation....would be afraid to try and drive anyway....

Looks kind of interesting, and may almost have a circulation apparent in low clouds to the West of the storms, but it is fighting the shear, and the shear is winning.

It is a nice band of moisture. Come to Florida!!!
It is holding together nicely as rain showers.
Nothing organized, but right now tracking clouds
may be of some benefit during drought.
