The first one is trying hard but still is elongated however convection has increased some so let's see what happens with it but it is possible that 92L invest designation posted at nrl early this week can happen.

But #2 will be the one that will be a big one due to a lower latitud track and warmer waters.

The first wave has some potential but with the rather broad and large scope that it covers and not to mention several sub-LLS's noted ... it will take some time. However, the wave/low is leaving SST's that are marginal and entering into warmer waters. Conditions are generally favorable, but this one won't develop rapidly. Give it a couple of days...
As for the next wave ... look out.

I'd say both of these tropical waves have a chance. There really isn't any wind shear in the far eastern Atlantic.
As we know, in the past when potential for development exists... then do not develop. How annoying predictions become, regardless of our strong interest in [tropical] meteorology.
