Look at this loop and select the SST box to see the sea surface temps. Is that accurate? It shows 24-25C water where Carlos is and yet it is a wonderfully formed small hurricane.

Any idea on whether or not that SST data is accurate? If so, then wow, a hurricane over less than 26C water. Interesting.

I discussed this in the Carlos thread. Those cool SST's continually shift to the west with Carlos. It's wrong.
