Well the past few days have gone from bad to worse for the GFS models. I was first suspect a couple days ago when the 15 day forecast from Accuweather showed 30 to 35 winds on Oct 1 and second (I'm quite sure they use the GFS model because the model coinsides with the forecast). Then this am they went to 25 to 65 on those days. So off to the GFS I went. The 06z was pretty bad, but it got worse. Both the 12z and 18z should read Nicole swallows NC. If I didn't know better I swear it was programmed by JB himself. To me it appears that the GFS wants to split the energy. Matthew heading wnw and Nicole heading NNW across the eastern tip of Cuba and up the coast.
Truth is, no one has any idea what's going to happen the next few weeks, but the pattern for development has shifted to our neck of the woods (geeze now I'm quoting Al Roker, got to get off television for a while).
I'm not worried though, we have had our turn already.
