Just to refresh your memory.......

This is the breakdown of systems from last year. Look at the activity late in September. My part of the GOM is out of the picture after the 15th of September due to the coldfronts racing down from the Rockies.

Ticka, Great point and Climatology also shows that the majority of hurricane season is yet to come. :):)

Yeah - I am the biggest complainer of nothing happening and so on so forth... but just had to refresh my memory from last year. Things didn't get going until after Labor Day last year. Perhaps that same logic will hold true this year.
