Time to be Patient and Prepared.....

#1 Postby Guest » Wed Aug 27, 2003 12:49 pm

For all the members out there who want a storm or WHO DON'T - now is the time to be patient and be prepared.

Now that we have the MAJOR INFLUX of models stirring something up in the GOM - I myself will just do like any other time - spend my time waitng and watching. Who I am to say if someone else's forecast is WRONG - I can't. So lets all remember we are here to discuss and exchange information.

Exactly Ticka. Preparation is the key... that and being vigilant are the two best things you can do to stay safe in type of weather condition, but as it pertains to this forum, tropical systems.

Well said ticka better be prepared than sorry later. We will see activity pick up in the atlantic basin in comming days and weeks as we are arriving at the peak day of the season (SEPTEMBER 10TH) so let's watch the events unfold in reallity to see what the systems are doing with the information that the models bring (BUT NOTHING IS A STONE THING FROM THEM) but use them as a guidance only.Hopefully no one will be threaten during the rest of the season but prepare for the worst case scenario but hope for the best.

It's okay, Johnathan. You're allowed to give your opinion. That was part of Ticka's point. Discuss, think, opine, prepare, and then some may even eat crow.

Yes, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean is kicking something up and the Atlantic is kicking too.

We must be prepared to party this weekend also. Hopefully nobody will be hurt by these crazy kickin storms.
