Very impresive system indeed! Good outflow, circulation and very strong and deep convection. It's definitively look's like a tropical storm right now! And keep moving west. Hurricane Allen formed around those latitudes back in 1980, and moved westward to passed south of us, so we have to keep an eye on this system for sure. The majority of the tropical waves, tropical lows and depressions that have formed around 12 to 13 north in the atlantic so far this season have passed south of us including, Bill that passed south of us as a strong tropical wave, ts Claudette, and Ericka. If the system northwest of it remain week and the ridge persist to the north, this storm may present trouble during the next week.
