Maximum sustained winds are now increased to 80 mph with higher gusts. Further strengthening is forecast during the next 24 hours and Fabian could become a major hurricane in the next 3-4 days as favorable upper level winds and warm sea surface temps will likely favor further development.

Movement is west northwest at 15 mph and this general motion is expected tp continue.

Hurricane force winds extends outward 15 nm from the ceneter while the tropical storm force winds extends outward 85 nm.

Minimum central pressure is 984 mb or 29.06 inches. Another update later this morning.
