Some of you may have heard of comedian and mogul Byron Allen and his Entertainment Studios company. Some of you may have not. Today, Allen announced his intent to purchase The Weather Channel.
At least the channel itself will soon be off the hands of the NBCUniversal/Blackstone/Bain consortium. What do y'all think the future will hold for TWC? The return to 24/7 weather? The reduce in reality/documentary programming?

Re: The Weather Channel Being Bought by Comedian and Mogul
I honestly haven't watched TWC in so long I don't remember when it was. Doesn't sound like anything but a money move to me. Unless he brings in some people with expertise to run something like TWC used to be I don't think much of anything will change.
