Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon. At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 655 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (7.3 °N,132.2 °E).

JMA predicts TD within 24 tau, but it's so dull even when MJO is over the West Pacific but mostly on the South Pacific, natural climate still controls...

Can't help but wonder if some moisture from this system will catch up and mix with the ash plumes coming from the Taal Volcano, which seems to be having a major eruption at the moment. In that case, the volcanic materials up in the atmosphere might get quite heavy and fall over a larger swath of areas in Luzon.
