Oh my the worse fears for me as the scenario that did not favor Bermuda is happening as the eye will pass just west of the island making it feeling the worse quadrant.

If you go to http://stormcarib.com/distance.cgi and enter the coordinates for Fabian (according to the advisory), it gives you this message: Results for Bermuda (32.37N, 64.68W):
The eye of the storm is about 44 miles (72 km) away. If the system keeps moving at its current speed of 17 mph and directly towards you, it will take around 2.6 hours (0.1 days) to reach you. You are already experiencing strong winds. Better take cover instead of sitting behind the computer!
