System information:
Tropical Depression 07-20252026, located in the Mozambique Channel, is 600 km off the coast of Tulear Province in southwestern Madagascar and more than 200 km off the coast of Mozambique. This system is forecast to move eastward while intensifying. It is expected to reach moderate tropical storm strength this afternoon.

No influence is expected from this system over the next 5 days for Reunion Island and/or Mayotte.

With the arrival of this weather system on the southwest coast of Madagascar tomorrow, Wednesday, a deterioration in conditions, including strong winds, heavy rain, and dangerous seas, is expected for the following day. Residents are advised to monitor the forecast through the Madagascar National Meteorological Service.
