We live 50 miles NW of San Antonio, TX. Why are the two above-mentioned weather entities often so different? For instance, for this coming weekend, TWC shows a hi of 30F and Lo of 14F with 80% chance of preceip whereas Accuweather shows a Hi of 32 and lo of 24, both for Saturday with a 95% chance of precip, whereas on Saturday, the two depart more with 30/15 and 41/18, respectively. I would think they get most data from NWS, but they are generally always considerably apart. Just curious as to which is more reliable.

Re: TWC vs Accuwaetehr Forecasts
Accuweather is private and makes their own forecasts. The best way to figure out who to trust is to track accuracy over time. Bad forecasts tend to cling to just one weather model solution.
