noticed this year for the first time....it takes isabel over the islands, Dr, then Cuba-ala Hurricane Georges. Thanks for the feedback about this model.

I believe the JMA model is from the Japanese Meteorological Association....but if it verifies, Isabel will be greatly weakened, if not torn to shreds by those mountains on Hispanola.
I honestly don't see Isabel being that far south west of 65 W....but time will tell (I've never put much stock in the JMA).

Perry, quesion bout Georges
Didn't Georges cross along the same area that the JMA shows Izzy going? It weakened him quite a bit, but he still had 105 mph winds when he visited Biloxi, if I'm not mistaken.
