Isabel losing some shape

#1 Postby Stormchaser16 » Thu Sep 11, 2003 8:31 pm

1: Looking real close at Isabel shows a SW wobble/trend, which u can really notice at how the system is oriented now, its looking a little elongated at the current time and this little wobble could cause it to lose the Cat 5 mark at 11 PM if the satelite readings are in by the time they write that up. With the way it is looking this little jog if it continues, may have big implications on its future track.

The ridge is obviously punching down on the NE quadrant of Isabel once again. The northern end of the storm and objective T numbers have fallen somewhat with a 6.5/7.0 from SSD ...

00z initialized at 140 kts. We shall soon see.
