2 CATEGORY 5 SYSTEMS

#1 Postby AussieMark » Fri Sep 12, 2003 7:32 am

Isn't it had that there have been 2 Category 5 systems across the globe this week, and comparable in intensity.

Super Typhoon MAEMI peaked at 175 mph

curently Hurricane Isabel is 160 mph but hasn't started to weaken yet so I anticipated if her when she next ungoes a eye replacement she may either strength in intensity or her pressure may drop.

It is very rare to have an Atlantic Category 5 and a Pacific Category 5 simultaneously. Ma Nature is having a wild week! :o
