NY City?

#1 Postby tano8 » Sun Sep 14, 2003 3:29 pm

Shouldn't the people of New York be concerned? It may be a stupid question (it has been on my mind since last week) but the implications of a major storm hitting NY would be devastating (not that it wouldn't be devastating anywhere else), but just think about it? I haven't seen anyone from there post nor have I seen anyone discussing this scenario. After all that the city has been through these last couple of years I just can't imagine them having to deal with something like this ya know? I guess all we can do for anyone who is threatened by this storm is pray that it will be a fish.

Also, wxman57, I see that you are a prof met from Houston. I am from Friendswood and was wondering where do you work? I really enjoy reading your post and respect your opinion. Thanks...
