This analysis

shows the strong shear on the south side of the storm. Notice the streamline (orange lines with arrowheads) packing on the south side of the storm's center. If this pattern holds and doesn't follow the storm northwestward, outflow and convective development should improve on the south side of Isabel when she reaches 30N tomorrow morning.
