I will try to keep updates going on starting at 6AM for as long as I can, until my power goes out, and then for as long as my laptop can hold up, assuming that the phone lines will stay--which they probably will.

You may be far enough east of the track to get only minimal TS-force winds in Durham. My wind profiler says 40 mph wind for 2 hours based on the center passing 50-60 miles NE of you. You'll be on the weak SW side of the storm.

I'm in Gates County at home now, since they evacuated the school. I'm in the path.
