530 AM EDT THU SEP 18 2003

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
ISABEL...LOCATED ABOUT 155 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF CAPE HATTERAS
NORTH CAROLINA.

A TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED LOCATED ABOUT 950 MILES EAST OF THE LESSER
ANTILLES IS MOVING WESTWARD. THE SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY POORLY
ORGANIZED...AND UPPER-LEVEL WINDS APPEAR UNFAVORABLE FOR
DEVELOPMENT.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
FRIDAY.
