No more hurricanes!!!

#1 Postby george_r_1961 » Thu Sep 25, 2003 7:20 pm

In the 40 years ive lived here Isabel was the worst weather event I ever experienced. Winds to 83 mph pounded my area..power was out for 5 days and half my city is still dark. For about 2 hours the night of Isabel i thought my building was gonna lose its roof; trees were blown down everywhere and many roads were blocked. Friday morning we awoke to what looked like a war zone. So I have decided no more EC storms this year!!!

I am glad you are OK, Geoerge. And I too think we have had enough tropical activity along the east coast this year!

Great to see you on the board! Sorry to hear about your troubles but glad you made it through OK! Mother Nature sure can be a dangerous lady when she's riled up!
