...TROPICAL DEPRESSION SIXTEEN REMAINS POORLY ORGANIZED...

AT 11 PM AST...0300Z...THE POORLY DEFINED CENTER OF TROPICAL
DEPRESSION SIXTEEN WAS LOCATED NEAR LATITUDE 12.6 NORTH...
LONGITUDE 39.2 WEST OR ABOUT 1380 MILES...2220 KM...EAST OF THE
LESSER ANTILLES.

THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHWEST NEAR 15 MPH
...24 KM/HR...AND THIS MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE DURING THE
NEXT 24 HOURS.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 35 MPH... 55 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER
GUSTS. STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST...AND THE DEPRESSION COULD BECOME
A TROPICAL STORM IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS.

ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1008 MB...29.77 INCHES.

REPEATING THE 11 PM AST POSITION...12.6 N... 39.2 W. MOVEMENT
TOWARD...NORTHWEST NEAR 15 MPH. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED

Ok.. I am not saying you are wrong by any means.. I am just wondering why you think it is almost certainly a fish? This storm is more south that Isabel at this time.. what are the conditions that make it a fish over Isabel?

Deenac813 - I agree and I think it is WAY too early to call TD 16/Kate a fish storm. This one needs to be watched closely.
