UPDATE INCLUDES AN INCREASE IN POPS FOR THE NORTHERN CWA AS SHOWERS
ASSOCIATED WITH A SHORT WAVE WILL MOVE NORTH OF PITTSBURGH TODAY.
ANOTHER SHORT WAVE MOVING OVER LAKE MICHIGAN WILL CROSS THE AREA
LATER TODAY SO A CHANCE OF PRECIP LOOKS OKAY FOR ALL DAY.

STRONGER COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY
MORNING WHICH WILL BRING US OUR COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON. WILL
AWAIT ARRIVAL OF 12Z NUMBERS BEFORE CONTEMPLATING FROST
STATEMENTS/ADVISORIES. BREAK OUT THE BALACLAVAS.

BALACLAVAS:

1. A warm woolen hood covering the head and neck, worn especially by mountain climbers and skiers.

2. A similarly styled hood often covering the shoulders, as worn by soldiers and sailors or as protective clothing.
