of this thing undergoing rapid development.. I know the main talk has been about shear and strong winds the last few days.. but is all that relaxing..
I even heard in here earlier this afternoon that the "slingshot effect" is apparently looking more likely.. or at least a N/NE movement even if it's not via slingshot.

The upper level wind shear hasn't been decreasing in the last 24 hours compared to the previous 12 to 24 hours in the southern Gulf of Mexico.
