How much time does Larry really have

#1 Postby John » Thu Oct 02, 2003 9:14 pm

Larry is the nightmare of all nightmares, anytime you get a system in the BOC in October ya gonna be tested, not an easy call at all. My thought on Larry was that even though guidance wants to bring him into Mexico, I don't think he will get inland fast enough before the next Midlatitude trough starts cleaning house. Larry must get inland well before this trough arrives and believe me it's on the NHC/TPC minds. I just cannot believe that a system forecasted to sit for five day's is going to get inland before a forecasted trough gets there in much less the time, the kicker here is, I believe with time Guidance is going to begin digging this trough deeper with each consecutive run, already getting hints of this happening. I will say this ... if Larry is going to miss this Northern connection he better resume some SW motion real soon or his time will run out. The Hour glass is tipped...the sands of time are falling.
