Look out folks - storms generating in SE Texas area. Southerngale, Galvestonduck, Vbhoutex and all the other texas folks - stay safe. Looks like its head to LA - then.
I'll keep everyone posted. A tornado touched down in Sugarland - took the roof off a school - thank goodness no injuries to any of the kids.

Well, last Monday I had a certain gastroentestinal problem that kept me running all day and then feeling pretty dehydrated by the end of the day. I drank several glasses of water and took a couple of multi-vitamins to try to get my cells back in balance. Then Wednesday and Thursday I was home sick with that upper respiratory crud. Then Saturday, I suffered through two bouts of major abdominal pain that seems to be conducive with gallstones. So I've made an appointment with my doctor to get my liver enzymes checked and find out what was going on with that.
But, for now, I feel better.
Thanks for asking.

Just had a real strong band of rain moving N through my area. Coming down at the rate of 1"+/hr. while it lasted. Checking the radar shows a LARGE AREA of heavy rain moving in from the N and NW. Looks like time to get the oars ready guys and gals!!! We've already had .9" here today.
Hope this passes N of us!!!

I almost didn't make it out of the Heights- My mustang was too low to the ground and almost stalled out. Braes Bayou is up over the concrete (although still about 10-15 from it's banks) and the bayou (I dont' know the name) at I-10 and Shepherd/Durham is the same.
Times like this I regret getting a sports car. My husband has a minivan and just drove through the high water.
