Here's a morning visible of Nicholas and the low-level swirl to its east. Note that outflow boundary pushing southwest away from the center in the southwest quadrant. The CDO appears to have collapsed some a few hours ago. The center had been beneath the heavier squalls, but is now becoming exposed again. Also note the low-level swirl around 143N/36W. No doubt about an LLC, but no convection = no TD. Shear is pretty strong over this TD 20 wanna-be. It may not survive.

Another Day, Another Outlow Boundary + TD 20?
