WTH are the models doing with Nicholas?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

WTH are the models doing with Nicholas?

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Thu Oct 23, 2003 5:27 pm

This was quite weird to look at especially since Nicholas was "officially" declared dead. BUT someone tell the Canadian this. Or the GFS. Or the NOGAPS. Or the UKMET.

CENTRAL ATL spinup?

925mb Vorticity reveals that it's the remnants of Nicholas performing a cyclonic loop and finally losing it but another area begins to show up to the NE of it.

Funny thing is the GFS is showing some resemblence of this as well.
