Niagara Falls Swan Diver

What do you guys think about Kirk Jones.. The 40 year old man who survived the jump over Niagara Falls?

I think he's lucky he didn't die, but I also think he pulled off a pretty cool stunt. He had been suffering from depression and he says he feels a lot better now.

He's been banned from Canada except for court appearances.

I expect he'll be on the Talk Show circuit and Letterman soon.

Nothing can be better than a .... swan dive into the asphalt ... I don't know, nothing could be better than a .... swan dive into the asphalt ...

(From HED PE-"Swan Dive")

I still haven't heard about if it was a staged stunt or he just fell since I've not kept up with the latest news ... but IMHO, it was NOT the smartest of ideas ... amazing he survived without safety equipment ...

The poor guy lost his job and was depressed. Hopefully he'll be able to get some cash to eat on after this. After all, he survived the nearly impossible so he's worthy.
