I downloaded *e-anthology*, it seems to be an OUTSTANDING program, it deletes ALL spyware cookies, so far, it's caught and deleted 3 virus' in the past 5 days ALTHOUGH, like an IDIOT......I disabled the program for ONE stinkin' hour and "BAM".......I picked up a virus, the WIN32 Hetera......it disabled my Archieve Headers :grr: :grr: :grr: Any ideas on how to fix this problem???

AVG for me. I was an avid Norton User. Then they started letting things in (even with updates and all), so I switched and haven't ever had a problem, and it';s free.

Norton Anti-Virus here as well. Didn't have anything the first few months with cable modem... sort of used McAfee when I had AOL for awhile... but couldn't get free updates as often as I wanted/needed to.

Had McAfee on our first PC...when we tried to update it to a newer version, McAfee "ate" some of the run files and deleted them as "trash". SOOO...

We got Norton, and when we got our DELL, we insisted on Norton Anti-Virus as part of the package. We get automatic updates every week (more often, if I choose to obtain them "manually"), and automatic once-wekly virus scans (also done manually if I feel it's warranted).

Norton also checks all incoming AND outgoing E-mails sent on our home service...can't ask for better than that.

In addition, I have Ad-Aware Build 181 Pro...that takes care of the BS that SOME sites leave behind.
