Crane Falls Across I-4 In Volusia; Shuts Lanes

Traffic To Be Slow Monday Rush Hour


A construction crane has reportedly fallen across both lanes of Interstate 4 in Volusia County, Fla., according to Local 6 News.

The machine has apparently fallen across several lanes between mile marker 109 and 110 in Deltona, near Debary.

It is not known if there are any injuries in connection with the incident.

Traffic is expected to be slow or stopped in both lanes during rush hour Monday as work crews remove the debris from the road.

It took me WELL over an hour to get home... I am not a happy camper.. Was raining and dark on top of it all.. Was Stop and Go the whole time.. and mostly just the Stop par :oops: :oops:

Chad, so sorry to hear what you had to go through yesterday. As soon as I heard this on FOX35 (WOFL-TV) and Local 6 (WKMG-TV) [CBS] a few minutes to 4:00pm Eastern I thought of you and Jen.

Hopefully Bron wasn't in the area.

A construction crane fell across several lanes of eastbound Interstate 4 in Volusia County, Fla., according to Local 6 News.

The machine fell to the ground off another truck between mile marker 109 and 110 in Deltona, near Debary.

There were no serious injuries in connection with the incident.

Traffic is expected to be slow in both lanes during rush hour Monday as work crews remove the debris from the road.
