Another season almost done.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Another season almost done.

Its late November now, time to put away the tracking charts till next year. No more late nites watching some system threaten land. No more getting up an hour earlier in the morning to check to see what a system did overnite. No more stopping by the computer in the middle of the nite while on the way to the kitchen for a donut and a glass of orange juice. No more long chat sessions debating where landfall could occur or how strong the storm will be at landfall. Its been an eventful season; here on the EC we experienced Isabel, the worst storm to affect this area in recent memory. The gulf coast saw their share of action as well. Lets not forget our Canadian friends either; Juan caused extensive damage in Nova Scotia. Bermuda suffered heavy damage from Fabian. So my fellow storm trackers we can "stand down" now till next year. Go to bed a little earlier..sleep a little later. Enjoy the holidays that are almost upon us. And remember 2004 will bring with it more storms.

LOL.. Yes the Atlantic season is about to conclude. Looks like it went out with Nicholas. Lets' just wait and see if any late season storms form.
