12z ETA

#1 Postby TheWeatherZone » Thu Dec 04, 2003 10:26 am

Just checking the morning runs. Whats everyone thinking? 12z looks slighty colder than the 06z run. 850 line stays in extreme southern NJ and never makes it any farther north.

Anyone experienced with Temp soundings? I'm an amature and not sure how to read exactly where the rain/snow line would fall. But yeah max precip amounts are over Eastern PA, Parts of NJ and Deleware. If one were to follow the 850 line, I'd say snow to sleet to snow for SE PA and western and northern parts of NJ.

Still looking good for a snowstorm in my area this weekend. Just wondering if the normal ETA bias of overestimating QPF will come into play.

DT's post over at NE weather has this headline "MASSIvE historic snow storm Headed for DCA BWI PHL NYC CT" From the looks of it, he's on board with a BIG DOG for the EC.
