Saddam want embargo lifted

#1 Postby mf_dolphin » Sun Mar 09, 2003 9:34 am

Saddam is asking the UN to lift the economic embargo now that he is disarming! If nothing else it shows just how far removed from reality this man really is!

I guess he'll get his wish soon enough! Just as soon as the tanks roll through Bagdad! Too bad he won't be there to see it.

Yeah, he is far removed from reality, but knows how to play on the divisions in the UN.

It is scary to me and also amazing how he managed to sway the UN like he has done. It is too bad the French have fallen for his tactics. If the UN is so easily swayed... then IMO they are null and void.

We will lift those sanctions... but only after he is gone.

The French, Germans and Russians have fallen for their pocketbooks. Saddam bought them with contracts and promises of more contracts. The fact that he's a mass murderer is secondary.
