You may have to wait a few more model runs than tonight. Only thing certain about this pattern is the cold for the NE. I agree that there is potential for a storm in this pattern, but where and when is uncertain. If the high builds in the west and retrogrades as progged, somebody should get slammed, and maybe a couple of good blows starting next week. The 18Z GFS has lost the low in the Ohio Valley, but that should come back in future runs, but further east given the flow. Another storm may beckon sometime near the 20th of the month. Details very uncertain right now. Future model runs later this week should start to hone in on truth. No snow in Florida today, BTW.

I will wait until tomorrow afternoon either to get really excited or less happy about my 2 feet. I would love 36 inches, I got 24 inches from the Presidents Day Blizzard, it was amazing, I love watching it snow, the morning after it started snowing the drifts were over the car in the driveway and halfway up the grill in the backyard, I LOVED IT, hoping for another one

36 inches, I don't think so. The most snow I've seen on the ground is about a foot with drifts from the 96 blizzard. SE VA got srewed over the presidents day storm, they predited freezing rain for the entire weekend and winter storm warnings were put up. But we just ended up with a few snow showers and tons rain. Just 50 miles up the road in Richmond they got about a foot of snow with tons of freezing rain.
