Hide and Watch?

Ok, according to NWS here we got something going on for SE Texas around next weekend. I've sent a PM to my expert for his take on it, but just wondering what anyone else thinks.

SO ON THURSDAY...A STRONG COLD FRONT SHOULD BE DIVING SOUTH THROUGH THE SOUTHERN PLAINS AND BY FRIDAY INTO THE CENTRAL GULF COAST. UPPER LOW OVER MEX/BAJA SPINS UP A LOW IN S TX/NE MEX (OR PERHAPS EVEN A STRENGTHENING COASTAL TROUGH) BRINGING A COLD RAIN AND ABUNDANT CLOUDS TO SETX. THE ARCTIC FRONT SHOULD BE IN NEBRASKA AND PLUNGING SOUTH.
THIS COULD GET SOME MUCH COLDER AIR INTO TEXAS FRIDAY-SUNDAY. WILL BE UNDERCUTTING MEX NUMBERS ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON BY 10+ DEGREES AND SATURDAY BY CLOSE TO 15 DEGREES. STAY TUNED.
It's the "Stay Tuned" part that has me doing the  look.

No hiding going on here. BUT I AM GOING TO WATCH!!! Each run of the models brings us closer to the probability of a MAJOR RECORD BREAKING COLD OUTBREAK and the possibility of winter precip.
