Just traded in a 98 Lumina LTZ. It was a great car and had 171,000 miles on it. (I drive a lot!!!!!) Never had any problems in the almost 6 years I had it.

Hey Dennis go for it!!!! Buy the Hummer!!!! I was thinking about it but bought a Subaru instead (better gas mileage). lol

Jacki-Lynne, keep that "Taliban staff car"...Toyota is the choice of Islamic fanatics everywhere (I wonder if they can use that as a selling point?).

We're in the clear...our little red cockroach with wheels (2000 Chevy Cavalier tudor) ain't on the list...YET.

My wife's 96 Grand am is not on the list...and of course my 2000 Ford Contour isn't there :)
We can't complain about my wife's car. It's been a good one. We bought it used. had about 30,000 miles on it when we got it. Now's it's pushing 200,000 and runs like a new one.
On the other hand, there is my Contour...I HATE that car. The dashboard is peeling up around the defroster vent. I had to take it back twice right after I bought it cause the AC venting system was messed up. I'd turn on the AC to blow thru the vents and it would go from the floor to the dash, and then to the defroster. Also had to have some work done on it cause it stopped dead in it's tracks on the highway with my wife behind the wheel when I was in the hospital about a yr ago. I miss my 1988 grand am. If the transmission hadn't been messing up in it, I'd still be riding in that car.

There have been more recalls on Ford cars than Toyota or most other cars.
