Wow ... taken at face value, this would be a HUGE hit for the Eastern Seaboard.

its possible, though maybe not to that extent. the GFS off the 0z run had no signs of it whereas the GGEM has been trying to imply over the past several runs that something is up.

however with the blocking that stong over greenland and the 50/50 low present any inland running system would be forced to go to the coast. but even that said its NOT going to run all the way up into the northern lakes. southern lakes perhaps but not that far up.
