What are your thought on Detroit, Mi getting 12" from this storm?

Really..What about Northern Ohio for that fact. I feel I got the shaft on the current storm due to "Winter Weather Advisories" being posted now instead of the Winter Storm Watch being upgraded to a Warning. Although I'm apparently right on the line between 2-4" and 3-5" I still feel the "Shaft".

I've been trying to find some more info about this 2nd event but I can't seem to locate a decent thread about it.

Thoughts anyone?
