New England snow thread

#1 Postby Dave C » Wed Jan 28, 2004 10:31 am

One last decent snow band is ready to move through SE Mass. before snow tapers off here in my local area. It took until 4am for snow to develop as very low dewpoints in eastern Mass ate away the leading edge of the snow as it moved into the area. We have 3 inches currently(10am) with 1 or 2 more to come before ending. Lots of last minute adjustments by local mets last nite as weaker and more southely track verified. Boston only had a dusting as of 10am with 4-6 inch amounts over SW Conn. Any other snowfall reports from anyone in New England?

My report from my former backyard in Bridgewater, Massachusetts would be around three inches as well. :D

I understand that the New York City area go 8 to 15 inches, the amount the a larger swath, indeed, from north of New York City eastward across all of southern New England, (across Connecticut, Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts).

I'd like to report one (1) shaft here. Zero flakes were observed.
