Site looks super. Well, I'm on the search for more winter weather. Well, for the recent storm we had, the storm did have its moments, but it was just such a long drawn out process. Although things look very interesting for the next several weeks. From time to time, I'll try posting my thoughts, along with some great experts out there. For DT and Donsutherland and many others out there, great job on your insight and of course your enthusiasm. Your information that you provide has been very helpful. Long range forecasting is not an easy task. Its about trying to get a handle on the current data and taking that information and determine how it will unfold in the future. Well, a lot goes into it. Being a graduate from PSU from Spring of 98, I'm learning a ton, but forecasting at times can be very challenging. I know I can't depend on every model run, like the ETA with its qpf problems or the GFS. Every model has its shortcomings.

Okay, enough typing for now, but just wanted to test out the posting. Now, I've got a site to post obs and interesting data. By the way, I maintain a website at http://www.ezweather.com Feel free to check it out. I know everyone has their methods, but it has helped me get the data faster. Believe it or not, I'm using PowerPoint to post my forecast products. Its just easy to do, because of where I work at. Well its a bit early, but wanted to get this rolling...Man, thought this message would be short. Maybe this early morning won't be bad after all.
