Early morning clipper

Not generating the excitement as did one a while back which never had snow any further south that central west virginia, this one has snow all the way down to Louisville. Has to survive mountains but this time coming into a DC area with humdities around 50% instead of drier 30% so bears more attention I think than is being paid right now.

I tend to agree with your assessment, because this time Woodbridge is not in an airmass with a 13/-7 T/D spread; rather, Woodbridge is showing an ambient temperature of 30 degrees and a dewpoint of 20 degrees and a relative humidity of 63 percent.

Check out this regional radar and this national radar. The precip is moving east, into a cold but relatively moist airmass.


Sure I'm desperate for snow.

Good catch 53. To let you know it has dropped a few inches here in Ohio myself included.

Average about 8 inches with up to well over a foot close to 2 in drifts. Hopefully if i can remember again i will take some photos to share here of it. Got some huge JebSnowPiles around town as well.

Good call W53, it is currently a light snow shower here in Alexandria , the flakes are fat and sticking. Edit- moderate snow shower. 7:41
