Steve H. wrote:The east coast is at risk every season. Now is it higher ((risk) this year? Yes, probably -- due to the higher than average number of storms expected and the thermocline circulation still cranking. When is the next set of data from Dr. Gray coming out??
The next outlook from Dr Gray will come out on april 2.

all depends on el nino. all the other factors are in line for a big season. but, pac ssts have warmed dramatically the last few days. if even a weak elnino is in play on 01jun, the east coast should be safe from a cane hit, particularly a major hit. by east coast i refer to the fla/ga border north. the fla east coast is a separate zone to me.
