Significant Icing

#1 Postby Anonymous » Sun Feb 01, 2004 1:28 pm

"OVER SOUTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA... CENTRAL NEW JERSEY... NORTHEAST MARYLAND AND NORTHERN DELAWARE... A MIX OF SNOW... SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN IS FORECAST FOR TUESDAY MORNING BEFORE CHANGING TO PLAIN RAIN DURING TUESDAY AFTERNOON. SIGNIFICANT ICING IS POSSIBLE."

I just pulled this off the NWS, I know it's going to start off as snow/ice, but is it really going to be significant for my area, I am central, not southern NJ.

I highly doubt anyone will get significant accumulations of anything...I think everyone in the Mt. Holly FA changes over to rain for most of the event.

Friday/Saturday is the storm to watch.

It will probable be some icing, some snow, and some rain for the entire northeast, but that will be it, just some. Not enough to melt all the snow away, :D

I like the potentile for the storm later in the week. I'm hoping for 'the big dog'
