Winter Weather Summary
POSTED: February 10, 2004 8:04 a.m.

A Little Snow in the Rockies, Northern Plains, and near the Lakes

Once again today, we have no big storms on the contiguous states weather map. A disturbance coming through the Rockies will bring an inch or so of new snow to western Montana, portions of Wyoming, south into the central mountains of Colorado; most of this snow will fall this afternoon and tonight. Later today and tonight will be windy with snow and flurries in the Dakotas, Minnesota and into Wisconsin; amounts will be around 1-3 inches.

Snow will continue to fall in lee the Great Lakes; northern Michigan will receive a new 1-3 inches today as will parts of southwest Ontario, western and central New York state and into the mountains of northernmost New England.
