is located 400 NNW of Yap with winds of 45kt and is moving NE at 7kt. The
forecast has an unusual track turning the system abruptly SW and dissipating it off the eastern Visayas in The Philippines after 72 hours. The
system is interacting with the Polar Front and westerlies and the underlying
forecast philosophy is that the system will shear soon with the mid and high level remnants tracking NE and the LLCC remnants getting caught in the NE monsoon flow behind the PF and tracking SW.

Meanwhile, the remnants of TC12P (Fritz) still show convection and a circulation as it approaches the NW coast of Australia near Port Hedland. If these remnants succeed in coasting out, we could see redevelopment of this system though right now JTWC is not carrying it as a suspect area since it is overland.

The European is continuing to show the development of a fairly potent tropical cyclone in the Coral Sea. An INVEST has been posted. Queensland should keep a close eye on this one.
