Well at least for one day the stock market was way up and oil was way down as war appears not imminent as the diplomacy continues and the US delays the vote for next week.
Oil prices fell $1.78 to $36.00 a barrel on the same news but will this rally be of one day only or there will be more to add?

Fridays are typically a down day on Wall Street like Cycloneye mentioned, especially when events in the world community are unsettled and a 2 day weekend can mean a lot of new developments.
